Siskiyou County is looking at ways to restore its dee rpopulations, and Tuesday's meeting of the Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors ... a number of proposed changes, including the allocation of zone-specific deer tags within the B  and C zones, establishment of zone-specific tag quotas in the B and C zones, establishment of area-specific archery tags in B and C zones and the elimination of the second deer tag option in the B zone.According to the draft, the measures have been proposed to distribute hunting pressure and increase hunt success at the cost of opportunity and flexibility and hunters’ ability to get tags for the season and hunter.
