...They built the clubhouse right where the ancient deer path crossed the road, cutting them off from their water supply at Crespi Pond and the deer birthing habitat at the cemetery...Here are some recommendations: Create a new pathway higher up on Asilomar for the deer to get from their watering hole to their birthing center and and remove the spike fencing, which deer have become impaled upon. Put signs up warning that deer may enter the roadway at any time.
