Fenced hunting draws ire, support in latest skirmish February 4, 2012 Indiana, Louisville Courier-Journal

Since 2006, the state of Indiana and a handful of owners of a hunting preserve surrounded by high fences have clashed in state court over whether the operations are legal.... breeding deer and elk to grow trophy antlers — as is done for fenced enclosures — “flies in the face of what conservation is all about. … This never should have been allowed,” said Doug Allman, a spokesman for the Indiana Deer Hunters Association.
