Virus is killing deer in Indiana and Kentucky September 23, 2012 Indiana, The Courier-Journal
Biologists at the Indiana Department of Natural Resources recently received lab-test results confirming their suspicions that the state's deer have increasingly been dying from epizootic hemorrhagic disease ... One case was confirmed in Franklin County in July and a second case was confirmed on Friday in McCreary County. Unconfirmed cases have also included Oldham and Bullitt counties
