"I'm afraid their studies are outdated,” said Gregory Silver, who has visited the park for several years. “They've been done over a period of years, but if you go out to Eagle Creek Park right now, there's an abundance of foliage for the deer to eat and also very few deer that you see." ... To just shoot deer that are harmless just because someone says there are a few extra deer, that's not the way we do things in a democracy ... You have to have both sides of the issue."
