...  the counties that had major problems from EHD in their whitetails, all showing big declines from the kill in 2016. Somerset County saw a 16.8 percent decrease in buck harvest and an 8.3 percent drop in antlerless take. Dorchester County saw a 31.3 percent decrease in antlered deer kill and a 27.2 percent drop in antlerless harvest. Caroline County hunters saw a 13.9 percent drop in antlered deer and 9.9 percent drop in antlerless take. Talbot County saw a 26.5 percent drop in antlered kill and a 12.9 percent drop in antlerless take.
