...Those in favor of the hunting say the herd ... too big for the community's 90 wooded acres ... The Maryland Department of Natural Resources ... said a healthy deer population has at most 25 deer per square mile. The 27 deer ... are the equivalent to 115 per square mile....those against the hunting say the community association has used strong-arm tactics to push the hunting, choosing to unnecessarily and illegally kill animals to protect people's landscaping ... they argue that the community association gave away the right to hunt on the land ...
