 In an attempt to lower Lyme disease totals in Medfield, the town has approved a proposal to reduce the town'sdeer population. Selectman voted last Tuesday, Feb. 15, to allow the Medfield Lyme Disease Committee to select hunters to lower the deer population. According to Medfield Town Administrator Michael Sullivan, there is a direct correlation between the population of deer and the number of infections.
