Shrewsbury mulls culling to reduce deer  November 9, 2010  Red Bank Hub  BY ANDREW DAVISON Staff Writer SHREWSBURY — 

The Borough Council continued its investigation into solutions to manage the borough's deer problem ....The borough distributed a survey to residents regarding deer management, Cooperhouse said.

According to the results, 1,499 surveys were distributed to residents and 242 were returned.

Of the 242 respondents, 164 said they thought there were too many deer in Shrewsbury and 177 said they think the population needs to be reduced.
Of those, 174 of the 242 said they think the population should be reduced through culling..
