Bow hunting in Farmington Hills leaves deer wounded, wandering October 13, 2011 Michigan, Hometownlife.com

At least three deer have been shot with arrows and left to wander around a Farmington Hills neighborhood injured, until they finally die. A doe was spotted with an arrow through her snout this week, with her fawns following close by; another was seen ... Kruger, along with her neighbors, enjoy seeing the many deer that roam in and out of a nearby wooded area and through their yards... “We just love seeing them, everybody does,” she said. “This (area) is their refuge, their sanctuary.” ...She was shocked to find out that bow hunting is allowed in Farmington Hills.
