More Northland communities plan city deer hunts August 20, 2013 Minnesota, Duluth News Tribune
... The city of Cook will hold an archery deer hunt within city limits for the first time this fall, and Grand Rapids will offer hunters the opportunity  to take more deer in a combination of hunts by archery, firearms and muzzleloaders.  Duluth, Superior and Hermantown have offered city deer hunts for several years in varying formats. Tower started a city hunt in 2008, and Two Harbors started its city deer hunt in 2011... Duluth has banned deer feeding within city limits, but that’s not the case in either Cook or Grand Rapids ...
