...They need to explain why they voted to gut the Stream Access Law (HB 309) or destroy the Habitat Montana Program (HB 209) or add 2,000 more nonresident deer/elk combination licenses (SB 400). Three other bad bills that were killed by Montanans or vetoed by the governor were SB 301, placing a moratorium on the acquisition of land by FWP, HB 285, allowing for unlimited nonresident archery elk permits and SB 255, requiring the FWP to use economics as a basis for public wildlife management decisions...
