... New Hampshire’s 1965 deer kill was the highest in eight years, according to unofficial but final figures compiled by the State Fish and Game Department. But the 9,600 deer killed in the state, while 2,000 more than the 7,589 felled by hunters in 1964, were short of the 1951 all-time record of more than 11,000.
