Busti officials have decided not to participate in the department of Environmental Conservation's deer management assistance program....The program would release extra permits during the regular deer season to hunters to kill antlerless deer... The permits would have cost the town no money....they would like more feedback from town residents before proceeding with the deer management assistance program....
