Not all hunting that is legal can be considered ethical, writes Daniel A. Pedrotti Jr., in the spring issue of Fair Chase, the Boone and Crockett Club’s quarterly publication.... Pedrotti ... calls into question the growing practice of raising deer and other North American wild game animals as livestock so they can released and “hunted” behind fences. Such animals, he points out, do not qualify for Boone and Crockett recognition but, more important, can’t qualify as an actual hunting experience...
