When the killing of the deer was mentioned in a story on WKYC, Channel 3 News Today Weekdays, they quoted Damon Greer, ODRN Wildlife Manager as stating, "Yes, it was given all of its appropriate vaccinations and those types of things. But you can't allow one person to keep a deer from the wild and not allow everybody to." ... Really Mr. Greer? ... What about all the Deer Farms in Ohio? ... When she [Jan Kellogg] asserted to Mr. Denamen [Scott R. Denamen, A Geauga County Wildlife Officer] that the deer was registered he replied, and I quote him, "Well, he is not registered through me!"
