... no studies have been conducted in Ohio on the impact of coyotes, McCoy said research conducted in South Carolina shows a decided impact on fawn survival, though an uneven one.  Fawn survival rates in one part of South Carolina were about 20 percent, “which was poor,” McCoy said. “About 80 percent of the mortality was attributed to coyotes.” ...
