Gov. Rick Snyder signs bill allowing younger children to hunt July 21, 2011 Ohio

The age requirement is 12 if it involves hunting deer with a firearm. The new legislation sets up a mentoring program that would allow children to get licenses earlier....Hunters under 10 could get a license if they meet requirements that would be outlined by a state commission.
