A topic that has divided residents and some members of City Council for nearly a year ... The ordinance, which passed 6-1, permits culling of deer on city-owned property ...  or owners of private property consisting of parcels five acres or greater, or a combination of no more than three contiguous properties ... “Ohio law prohibits sterilization, relocation and contraception (except for research). If the city ever has a chance to use contraception on deer, and I hope they do, regulators say we have to reduce the population first,” ... Ward 1 Councilman Rob James
