Avon Lake Council looking into deer hunting recommendation May 3, 2012 Ohio, The Chronicle, By Steve Fogarty

 A recommendation that would permit bow hunting of deer in designated parts of the city isn’t sitting well with one city councilman.  “I was totally stunned when I saw the areas of the city deemed to be sufficient as hunting grounds,” said David Kos, the city’s 4th Ward councilman.  “Some are no more than 100 feet from occupied structures (homes or businesses) ... To put it bluntly, this is extremely dangerous to certain neighborhoods.”
