Granville Village: Increase in deer harvest gives relief to some residents March 1, 2012 Ohio

Bowhunters killed ...120 deer during 2011-2012, an increase of 13 compared with the previous year. Of that total, 97 were does; 23 were bucks... The numbers of deer killed generally have been increasing since Granville's deer bowhunting program began in 2008. It was designed to reduce the deer population, thereby helping to prevent deer from eating landscaping.
