...Mayor William Currin introduced an ordinance to City Council Sept. 21 that would allow deer hunting with bows and crossbows on qualifying property within the city....Council will discuss the legislation Sept. 27 and could vote on the ordinance in October....[methods ruled out were] Fertility control, which is not permitted in Ohio; trapping and euthanizing, which costs $400 per deer killed; and sharpshooting, which cost $400 to $625 per deer.
