Ashland ponders ban on feeding wild animals May 18, 2012 Oregon, Mail Tribune, By Vickie Aldous 
The City Council Tuesday gave its initial approval for a ban on the intentional feeding of deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, bears, cougars, coyotes and wolves in town....Under Ashland's pending feeding ban ordinance, people cannot knowingly place, distribute or store food, garbage or anything else — such as salt licks — designed to attract deer or other wildlife listed in the ordinance... "They will have two days to stop. If they don't stop, they can be cited," said City Attorney David Lohman.
