Piebald deer visits Williams Township yard November 27, 2011 Pennsylvania, Lehighvalleylive.com, By Arlene Koch 

... a young piebald deer, not much bigger than a fawn, walking through his yard with its mother. Piebald means that its coat is mottled brown and white, but this animal is so much whiter than brown that it looks more like a Holstein calf than a whitetail.... A piebald animal can have differing degrees of light vs. dark on its coat and shouldn't be confused with the European species fallow deer. They've been introduced into a few areas of the country and are normally light or pale all over....
