EHD has turned up in wild deer in Pennsylvania....Epizootic hemorrhagic disease was found in Northampton County... Adams County, dubiously enough, is where the EHD, or Blue Tongue first showed itself in Pennsylvania in 1996, when 25 dead deer were found here. Test results were inconclusive, but all other signs pointed to EHD. Outbreaks in Pa. were confirmed in 2002 and 2007....Recently, a captive deer in Erie County is confirmed to have died of EHD...
