A deadly deer virus that's reached into Northampton County should leave local herds in Monroe County unaffected. Pennsylvania Game Commission officials said Friday that test results from a wild deer have confirmed that epizootic ...hemorrhagic disease has been found in Northampton County. A sample was collected Aug. 18....Additionally, one captive deer in Erie County was confirmed to have died of EHD, based on a sample collected Aug. 13.
