...  Commissioners have agreed on a multi-pronged approach to lethal and nonlethal methods of deer population control... “You’ll see that capture and euthanize is very limited on returns,” said Mr. DeNicola, who in the summer of 2013 compiled a list of deer population control options for Mt. Lebanon. In that document, he stated that the “technique would be significantly less humane than sharpshooting. Deer are greatly stressed during the capturing process.”
