A western Pennsylvania community is once again considering imposing a ban on feeding deer to deal with a surging population of the animals. Commissioners in suburban Pittsburgh's Ross Township narrowly rejected such a ban in 2008 ... the deer feeding ban would be the first in the state... the statewide deer population is down by one-quarter, the numbers have increased in Allegheny County...
