... Of the 62 recommended rule changes, a proposal to implement a “holiday hunt” from Dec. 24 to Jan. 4 attracted the most attention from residents and officials who expressed some concern about the potential impact hunting could have on snowmobiling and other winter recreational activities ... A proposal also is on the table to restore a statewide restriction on harvesting white or albino deer; current regulations allow harvesting albino deer, but only in areas where chronic wasting disease is a known issue...
