DNR says deer numbers up across Wisconsin October 29, 2011

The DNR says it expects an increase in deer this year. Efforts to control the deer herd population in the past have been successful. As a result, this year hunters will be allowed to harvest more deer. The DNR says its decision to cut back on the number of deer tags handed out in the last few years, should result in more deer this season.
