DNR wants landowners to open their property to public hunting, for cash November 4, 2011 Wisconsin, FOX6Now.com Milwaukee

... The state of Wisconsin has received nearly $2 million from the federal government's Farm Bill to pay landowners as much as $15 an acre, if they agree to allow hunters to hunt on their property ... a couple of those agreements have meant more than $60,000 to the property owner!
