DNR has preliminary results in predator impact study April 27, 2012 Wisconsin, WQOW TV News 18, By Keith Edwards
Many hunters in northern Wisconsin have complained that the DNR under-estimates the impact of predators on the deer herd. Now, preliminary study results show the hunters appear to be right... Of the 36 deer that were monitored, 22 died. And 64 percent of the fawns that died were killed by predators.
