Unfortunately, a bill proposed by state Sen. Terry Moulton (R-Chippewa Falls) and Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-Hazelhurst) intrudes on the ability of DNR to do its job. Their "Deer Hunters Heritage Bill" would ban the requirement that hunters must first shoot an antlerless deer before killing a buck. The legislation also would ban fall herd control hunts.
