Wisconsin calls for outside help on deer October 9, 2011 Columbus Dispatch
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a tea party-backed Republican whose decisions affecting public employees touched off widespread demonstrations months ago, appears to be applying that same management style to the handling of his state’s deer herd.... hunters in Wisconsin killed 336,871 deer last year during all seasons, far fewer than the 528,494 reportedly killed 10 years earlier during gun season alone.
