Deer mortality surveys finished May 24, 2012 Wyoming, Casper Star-Tribune Online 
Biologists credit the mild temperature and open, snow-free winter for high deer survival. Officials also anticipate between 80 and 90 percent fawn survival this year in the Wyoming Range and Sublette herds compared to about 35 to 50 percent survival last winter.
