... “Mother Nature just did what I probably couldn’t accomplish in a lifetime of work,” Jill Randall, habitat biologist for Wyoming Game and Fish, said of the Fontenelle Fire. “I am beyond ecstatic about the effects of this fire for wildlife. The way that Mother Nature does wildfire is so much better and effective than the way we do it in prescribed burns.” ... Randall visited a burned area about two weeks after the fire charred the ground and saw moose, deer and elk chomping on new vegetation that is already sprouting ...
