... there is a proposal that rather than cull the deer next time that a pilot relocation project be undertaken, perhaps with a dozen animals... It won't take the lead on the project, preferring a university or a wildlife group to take charge under the supervision of a professional wildlife biologist... the city is only willing to contribute up to $516 per animal, which is what it paid for the 2011 deer cull.
