The CRD created the Deer Management Citizens Advisory Group last month after “much pressure” from residents ... they are going to address the agricultural-deer conflict, so the benefits to Salt Spring will be information and recommendations ... According to information provided by the CRD, approximately 75 per cent of the province’s 115,000 black-tailed deer live on Vancouver Island and the southern Gulf Islands...
