Invermere up in arms over cull of 'ninja' deer March 1, 2012 British Columbia, The Province 

The Invermere Deer Protection Organization ... maintains council has "created a false hysteria around the presence of deer in our town" by talking about how "aggressive" and "dangerous" the deer are.  At the same time, IDPO says, "the vast majority of the people of Invermere have been coexisting with the deer with-out any issues for years." ... Before the town does another cull, the plan is to look at relocation or dog-hazing. However, the province hasn't approved those options to date...
