On Nov 23rd 2013 DeerSafe Victoria organized a rally to bring attention to the municipality of Oak Bay's decision to move forward with a deer cull. They peacefully walked through the streets, yet carried a strong message: citizens of Oak Bay and Victoria do not want a deer cull and non-lethal alternatives must be implemented. This is footage from that day enmeshed with Pink Floyd's On The Turning Away and a short video of a deer being caught in a clover trap ‎‎(click on link below this video)‎‎. This deer was having its ear tagged, the bolt gun method proposed for Oak Bay would be much more graphic. - Published January 3, 2014
