A project to restore the deer fencing at the National Trust property was expected to take ten years, but was completed in just eight months , thanks to a £65,000 grant from Natural England. The grant covered 80 per cent of the cost of the new fencing with the remainder coming from National Trust coffers.  Charlecote Park has been home to a herd of fallow deer for centuries – perhaps as far back as the 1400s ...
