Wild deer have been blamed for damaging local gardens as well as causing traffic hazards ... SNH [Scottish Natural Heritage] recommended a 'small cull' after ... over two nights in January. They recorded 300 deer in total, with 100 of those spotted in the Gullane area....The Gullane Bents owners' committee ... has given permission for culling to take place on their land ....
