The Deer Harvest

For many years the result of the deer hunt was counted as the "deer kill."  This phrase has been generally replaced by the euphemistic phrase the "deer harvest," as if killing a deer is equivalent to picking some tomatoes or harvesting a row of grain as in the image below generated by artificial intelligence.
